There is a treasure to behold in Washington’s past. Though most now will remember its coffee shops and music contributions, the indigenous people left an influence that can be seen in their art. The state shares borders with Oregon, Idaho, and the country of Canada. It is an awesome thought that hours away lies a whole other country. Montana’s beauty is close by, as well.

The Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival is held in Tacoma. Tacoma is also the home of the State History Museum, which displays Native American cultural exhibits. Get a taste of wildlife by visiting Mount Rainier National Park. The mountain is snow topped and covered in wildflowers. It still features an active volcano and the park is open year-round, with certain areas closed during the year. It is a perfect way to get back to nature.

The Space Needle is a bit of Washington travel information that is a must for all sightseers. Though it is often heard of, many may not understand the view it offers.
